Electrification of automobile by RICOH power management IC
Various electronic devices are installed in vehicles.
From the early 1990's when car navigation systems and car audio appeared, RICOH ICs such as LDO regulators (linear regulators), reset ICs (voltage detectors), DCDC converters (switching regulators), etc., have been installed in every part of automobiles for over 20 years.
By ensuring stable operation and high quality under harsh temperature conditions, we provide customers with safety and reliability.
Some examples of RICOH power management ICs helping automobiles to run safely and comfortably.
Let's have a look at some examples of RICOH ICs in automobiles. (As of November 2019)
ADAS is a system that supports driver's driving operation and has functions such as parking assistance, lane position determination, collision avoidance and so on.
LDO Regulators (Linear Regulators)
Various equipment ranging from visible things such as headlights, door mirrors, power windows and antennas to invisible things such as shift by wire, TPMS, EV / PHEV charging equipment are installed.
Infotainment includes car navigation systems, car audio systems, car air conditioners, clustered displays, head up displays, etc., that makes driving experience comfortable.
